Everyone in Dr Guzman's office takes the extra effort and time to make the patient feel welcome and comfortable. If additional services or procedures are recommended, there's no pressure, just the facts about why they may be helpful for good dental health. All of the equipment is very modern, and over 10 years I can't think of a single instance of being in pain at Dr. Guzman's office. He's never hurried and always follows the cleaning with a thorough check of the mouth for anything of concern and a short discussion about anything to keep an eye on or care for differently. The post-visit swag bags are filled with lots of goodies including the best toothbrush ever. Bonus: Perfect view of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz from the chair!

Nobody comes CLOSE to the quality care Dr. Guzman and his amazing team provide. Plus tomorrow I'm going to a rooftop party thrown by my Dr. Guzman! if you told me your going to a party thrown by your dentist, I would judge you, but Guzman is amazing and his team is 2nd to none, plus there office is on the top floor overlooking the golden gate bridge ;-) 

From start to finish - 

My wife got lucky and found Mr. Guzman, she's dealt with dental issues for a few years and would typically come back from the dentist in a bad mood, but after Guzman things were different, she came home as if she just had champagne with some friends. 

Before Guzman I was at a dentist that my company and google both contract out so I assumed it would be good, the routines were pretty painful, they would just load you up with medication and be done. I later found out during a deep cleaning they did, they left a lot behind... 

Then I finally went to Dr. Guzman, his staff was amazing and made you feel at home plus I challenge you to find a dentist with as good of a view. His office is amazing, all of the tools were top notch from the wireless x-ray machine to the cameras to the dyson fans ;-) (big dyson fan)

Dr. Guzman took his time and explained everything he was doing, which was both stress relieving and interesting! He has a very calm relaxing voice that puts you at ease. I've been numbed up (needle in gums) probably 10 ten times and I can't imagine going anywhere again after Dr. Guzman numbed me up, it was painless, the man stuck a needle in the top of my mouth and some how it was painless!

After one of the fillings my jaw was sore (I'm a giant baby) and I called to see what to do, they told me to come in, Dr. Guzman checked me out, made me a custom mouth guard and wrote a prescription to help, he didn't charge me, and made me feel like the only patient there despite there being a lot of patients and I came in with 30 min notice. 

Today I had a lump on the top of my mouth that was very painful, I called, came in and he saw me, it was an interesting infection and he wanted to make sure I was okay. He took x-rays and photos without charging me a dime (at least me a dime, maybe insurance...). This infection required a specific oral surgeon, his team spent over 30 minutes calling every specialist they personally knew to get me an appt as fast as they could (above and beyond). As it would be it was already late in the evening and nobody could see me till the next day. Dr. Guzman went and called in other Dentists in the building to find ways to make sure I didn't go home in pain or worried. Dr. Guzman didn't have to do any of this, he could have charged me $1000 for an emergency visit and then just referred me out, and I wouldn't have felt bad if he did, thats the industry, except Dr. Guzman is different, and I never thought I'd say this about a dentist, but he truly cares. 

His team

I've seen other dental teams and they are at best tolerable, Guzman struck gold - 

Gisela is a calm sweet reassuring woman, her confidence puts you at ease no matter how much pain your in. 

Christina is great at explaining everything! she'll break down the plan and payments as if she worked for the insurance company as well, plus if your there in the evening, she might start playing some backstreet boys and Nsync!

Samantha is a great DA! she takes her job very seriously and Guzman and her just seem to really sync, be sure to ask her about her dog ;-)

I no longer dread going to the dentist now that I have found Dr. Guzman's practice! I have had a lot of dental work done over the years, and at other offices I never felt like a lot of that work was explained well to me nor were preventative measures taken to help me avoid more work in the future. In contrast, Dr. Guzman fitted me with a heavier-duty night guard to help prevent further damage and explains any necessary procedures thoroughly. I wish I would have found him years earlier!

I've been coming here for 10+ years and have always had such wonderful service and care. He and his staff go out of there way to help whenever possible.

I find both Michelle & Angelica to be very pleasant, informative and lovely.

They have never once in 10 years been rude to me, my family or any of the dozens of people I've referred to him over the years!

If you want a great doctor who has great staff, this is the guy.

Not to mention he throws a Blue Angels party during Fleet Week for his staff & patients that is always such a great time.

Dr. Guzman and staff are awesome! Plus the office has beautiful views of the GG Bridge to Alcatraz. Highly recommend.

I have written reviews for Dr. Guzman before, but know that they get buried after while. So in short, Dr. Guzman surpasses 5 stars. I've been going to him, gosh, 18+ years! How time flies. I have a mouthful of potential dental catastrophes (in my deep middle age) and Baltazar Guzman takes very good care of my teeth. I may even be able to keep them all into my old age, thanks to him, ofcourse. Plus, he is a super-duper guy. If you are looking for an exceptional dentist, book an appt. with Dr. Guzman NOW.

I have been going to Dr. Guzman for over 2 years and I have had only wonderful experiences with everyone at this office. Even though I am usually slightly afraid of the dentist, I actually look forward to getting my teeth cleaned and checked every six months here.
